“ Update: Went to the café again today. New on the menu are currywurst, grilled ham, and sausage made from straw-fed pork. All from a local farmer. Tastes great at a reasonable price. ------------ Update: Went there again today for Schnitzel Day. It was absolutely top-notch once more. ------------ We went there today with a small group of motorcyclists for breakfast. We were greeted personally and warmly by the owner. During our visit, every single wish was fulfilled from beginning to end! The gala breakfast was amazing... the selection of jams alone is unbeatable. I've never had such crispy bacon with scrambled eggs anywhere else as in this café. I especially recommend this place to bikers, but everyone else will certainly find something to enjoy here as well. Breakfast, cakes, ice cream, tarte flambée, hamburgers, and more. The restrooms are good and clean. Parking is also available. Those who prefer to sit outside can do so comfortably, and if desired, in the shade under a parasol. The interior is also well-appointed and charmingly rustic. “ A traffic jam on the A7 prompted us to exit at Westenholz in search of a café. After a 20km detour through military grounds, we arrived in Bergen at 2:30 pm on Saturday afternoon. The café was still open, even though there wasn't a soul around. The selection of cream cakes was fantastic, the slices were wide and thick, and absolutely delicious. The prices for the cake slices and the coffee/hot chocolate were very reasonable. In Austria and Hamburg, they're charging outrageous prices these days. The two servers were very friendly and attentive. All in all, I'd like to thank them very much for this delightful treat and the excellent service! ”

“ A very cozy and charming café. They also offer a constantly changing menu if you're really hungry at lunchtime. The amount of food on the plate is simply incredible, yet still affordable. Of course, there isn't as much choice as in a restaurant, but I think that's perfectly fine. The staff is very friendly. We've been there several times with our group and will definitely be back. ”
